Looking back at LSI Europe 2022

We work in the recruitment sector, a sector that is fiercely competitive, where barriers to entry are so low that anyone with a phone and a list of targets could offer services.

But we believe there are two things that set the industry apart and these are things that we place great importance upon.

Your track record. Who have you worked with and most importantly who retains you, project, beyond project, beyond project?

The company you keep. And it’s this point which made me think about how fortunate we have been this year and I would like to reference our friends at @LSI on this particular subject.

A few months ago, we attended @LSI MedTech Europe event. A 3 day conference held at The Grove just outside London.

Taking 3 days out of our diaries to attend just one event was a big decision for us but looking back at the time lost during the various lockdowns, we knew it was the right thing to do.  More than 500 delegates attended from all over the world showcasing the very latest developments in MedTech.

With so many great leaders from one sector in one place, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the progress these companies are making to address global health challenges. What was even more amazing however was the quality of European MedTech businesses in attendance which represented the UK MedTech sector brilliantly. From surgical robotics to cardiology and oncology and everything in between. Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to us including - Biomems Diagnostics, Pacertool and Inovus.

So, my advice to anyone thinking about the 2023 conference season is to go for it, grab the best opportunities whilst you can. If you need any more convincing, then this article from Forbes Magazine sums it up perfectly “If you are the smartest person in the room then you are in the wrong room.”
